ColegauCymru looks forward to another year of sports events for learners and their colleges across Wales.
Fixtures for the 2025/26 regional competitions are organised in collaboration with colleges across Wales. Building on previous successes, we aim to increase participation by hosting more competitions and encouraging more learners to represent their colleges.

Other Regional Tournaments
Table Tennis We will be holding three regional table tennis tournaments in the Autumn Term (North, South West and South East), working in partnership with Table Tennis Wales. Locations and Dates for these events are still to be confirmed.
Boccia There will be three regional Boccia tournaments this year in a similar format to the Boccia Bonanza event organised by Grŵp Llandrillo Menai and Disability Sport Wales in 2024/25. Details for this will be also shared with contacts for ILS and Active Wellbeing.
FE Multisport Events
Alongside competitive events, we will be hosting our annual FE Multisport duathlon series in both North and South Wales. The popularity and success of these events would not be possible without the brilliant effort shown by learners and staff that bring the events to life, we look forward to seeing you in Rhyl and Pembrey.

Organised in collaboration with Triathlon Cymru and a wide network of local and national partners, the 2026 FE Multisport events aim to give learners of all abilities the chance to try a new sport, build confidence, and connect with their peers in a supportive and energetic environment.
With over 400 registrations expected colleges across Wales and England, the events offer two options:

Full Duathlon: 5km Run / 20km Bike / 2.5km Run
-
Go Tri Event: 1km Run / 4km Bike / 1km Run - designed as an inclusive option for less active learners and those new to competitive sport
